* We moved house in 2011, now there are two classrooms, class size is 1~12 persons. * All classes are hands on, each class will include cleavor skill and wok season skill, we will demonstrate 4~5 dishes, everyone will practise at least two dishes, the dishes you make will be your lunch/dinner, cooking class is 3~4 hours, depends on the class size and how fast you eat. * optional market tour (1.5 hours) provided before cooking class.

Explore a wet market,
explain the different kinds of vegetables, spices;
explain the difference between light soy sauce and dark soy sauce
introduce the most famous black vinegar and rice wine;
and buy food for cooking. you can join before all the class.

Chunyi Zhou open the cooking class in 2006 April, she was borned in Canton, when she was a child, she always help her parents making Dim Sum with her sisters and brother, while her grandfather run a restaurant. After graduated from University, she became a chemist in a decent company as her parents wished, worked in boring laboratory for years. chunyi quit her job, and went to Sichuan to study Sichuanese cooking, then came back to Canton to study Cantonese cooking. finally she decided to open her cooking school in Beijing.
Her younger brother Chao join her school in 2010. he was a sport teacher in a middle school, sport teacher is a idle job, he always make a big meal for his collegue and roommate after the class, slowly he found he like more cooking than being a sport teacher. ChaoChao quit his job and went to Beijing to study cooking and English in Jul. 2010, now he work with his sister Chunyi, togather run the cooking class.
